A deal to good to be true

Ioffer complaint by Alfaro85
On June 26, 2008 I stumbled on ioffer to look for a deal on ipod touch and there was seller who has 10 ipod touch for 145.00 and $12.00 shipping, and I was suspecious because he doesn't accept paypal only money order or Western Union, but I went upon and bought it, I keep sending the sender (glassplate) messages and leaves me very little feedback, so I sent the money order, and he already closed his account and yes it has been 3 weeks and still I didn't receive the ipod. I feel that I was scammed, and I don't know what to, or who to complain.

Um you should never pay any way other than Paypal unless they have thousands of good solid feedback. At least with Paypal and a credit card you can charge them back. With Western Union and Moneygram/Moneybookers you are really taking your chances. Sorry this happened to you. Maybe you can file something for internet fraud, but because they are in another country you might be out of luck. :cry

When you see prices like that you know they are to good to be true! Don't fall for that, i think you are very naive to believe in something like that. Always look at that persons feedback, if that person only has 2 good feedbacks don't buy yet.
