ioffer is complete fraud. do not use it. it is too good to be true. The sellers contact you in timely manner till they take your money and don't return your complaint emails. and they can continue to do business this way. most of them are overseas so there is not much you can do about it. as for using your visa for purchase protection, most of them don't take visa but only through paypal which makes it harder than ever to claim a dispute. it's like getting screwed twice.

all of these companies being an us company, i can not believe that they can do business this way.

I have seen similar things with paypal and Ebay. why is it that these companies are not held accountable??? it's fun and sometimes cheap to get auction items but i think i will stick to malls.

If it's too good to be true...it is! You CAN'T get a real Gibson Les Paul, ES 335, etc. for $230... I don't care what they say... they are fakes, if you get anything at all. Just read the listed, the english is horrible, all you're doing is sending your money to Nigeria. Wake up... deal locally!

Yes, just be careful when you're buying and selling.

Check up on the seller's past transactions, history, feedback ratings.

Know exactly what you're going to get. Ask as many questions as you want before buying or accepting the offer.

Don't blame the site for 1 bad experience. All sites will have that so just be careful next time.

I have used eBay for many purchases and I always use paypal. I have had a couple of bad experiences with poor selling/postage but paypal have always been very helpful.

Only one instance did the seller disappear before I could get all my money back thru paypal. But I have friends who are hunting him now (I will get my pound of flesh, one way or another).

Ha Ha BOOOOOOM. That will teach him to mess.

Paypal is the way to go with payments.

1 bad experience is not how all experiences will go. I have been shopping online since 1999 and have purchased literally hundreds of items and No Problems. I've shopped on Ebay since 1999 and started using IOffer in 2006. Just make sure you are using PayPal or some similar online payment processor and you will be just fine.
