Paypal allows Ioffer sellers to scam buyers. No protection
Scam Alert: ioffer is not a safe place to shop. I purchased a pair of boots on ioffer. I used Paypal to make my payment thinking I was protected. Boy was I wrong. The seller sent a cheap plastic wallet instead of boots. I called paypal and they said because it was purchased on ioffer (outside seller) and because the seller sent "something" (any old thing will do)I have no protection from Paypal. Paypal also told me to contact Internet Crimes and gave me the government web address for help, because they (paypal) can not help me. My money is just gone.
I then tried to contact ioffer; but I can't find any information on how to contact anyone at ioffer.
I suggest buyers learn from this and stay away from this site and read the fine print of paypal's user agreement before using this payment source.

I went to craigslist to look for a good professional Sony camera. I found a camera with accessories for $3500 and offered $2500.
He accepted the offer accepting western union or wire transfer. I am on the West coast and he was advertising from the East Coast. This has scam written all over it. I found many sites that warned against buying with free shipping.
Thank you for everyone's posts and saving me from losing money and sleep. If it is too good to be true it probably is.
bought already twice from ioffer and never had a problem with anything. i used a credit card from my dad, he didnt get scammed.
i used paypal account, i didnt get scammed.
i recieved what i orderd. never got a message from ioffer that the shipment is delayed.
How did you send your payment with paypal
They do not protect you and this definitely is not a secure site. Your credit card info will be leaked and used. It happened twice to me and I didn't even make a purchase. They don't care what happens to your personal info, you can count on that. Also, GOOD LUCK trying to talk to a live person that can actually help you and/or cancel your account! They should not be allowed to operate a business.
t
why I do not read this thread before, dab now I fooled $ 180 (Sorry, scam by a Chinese person), it seems I should be more submissive, patient and despair in ioffer
unfortunately my fate; (
The people are cnuts and want killing. This is blatant internet crime - why are they getting away with it?
I've also noticed that its IMPOSSIBLE to contact Ioffer (save by sending them a piece of paper in the mail..) Its amazing that people with such little interest in customers' welbeing and such an overwhelming impression of just making money are even successful.
Please do not be fooled by feedback scores on ioffer. I have learned they can import their feedback score from another site to make it look as if they have a good selling rapport on ioffer.
You have to make sure that the seller has excellent feedback before purchasing anything.
I was also scammed by ioffer. They continue to tell you item is delayed but will be there, than once you have passed the 45 day mark to get your money back they completed cut off contact with you.
Stole my $65 and paypal practically told me that they are just exploting there fine print, and they are fine with that.
Ioffer is even worse, not responding to my dispute or any of my emails. They suggest I get in contact with my seller, LOL, thanks for the help.
